Happy New Year! I hope it started well for you! It was a wonderful sunny day yesterday in London, a great start to the New Year.

Royal Botanic Kew Gardens released free tickets last year (how weird to say ‘last year’!) so we booked 4 tickets in case our friends wanted to join us for a stroll on New Years Day. As hard as it was to wake up and get ready for the long journey to the word’s famous garden it was absolutely worth the effort.


Kew Garden is a 300 acre (121.406 hectare) UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated in a beautiful area of West London, the garden is one of the most amazing places I’ve explored; incredible landscape, glasshouses full of exotic plants and 250 years of history.
